Diane Bernard, Esq.

Diane Bernard is an associate at Elliot Ifraimoff & Associates, P.C. representing accident victims in general negligence matters, including motor vehicle accidents and slip and fall accidents. Prior to joining the firm, Diane managed a large caseload of injury cases including, automobile and motorcycle accidents, premise liability, nursing home neglect and dog bites. She is skilled at negotiating and resolving cases beyond clients’ expectations. 

Diane has an unwavering commitment to civil rights. She is experienced in bringing claims on behalf of employees for discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour violations and police misconduct. While in law school, Diane interned in the Labor and Employment Department at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (“EEOC”) and the New York City Law Department.

Diane earned her Juris Doctor degree from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of law. While in law school, she served as an article’s editor for Cardozo’s International and Comparative Law Journal and a writer for the Cardozo Jurist, a student-run newspaper.
Prior to attending law school, Diane earned her bachelor’s degree from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology. Diane is a member of the Women’s Bar Association of New York.
