William E. Acevedo-Hernandez, Esq.

William Acevedo-Hernandez is an associate at Elliot Ifraimoff & Associates P.C. representing accident victims in General Negligence matters, including motor vehicle, trip & fall, and slip & fall accidents. Prior to joining the firm, William was an Assistant District Attorney with the Queens County District Attorney’s Office. In his time there, William handled hundreds of matters including both misdemeanor and felony offenses. William also prosecuted felony Hate Crime offenses in the Hate Crimes Bureau of the Queens District Attorney’s Office.

William earned his Juris Doctor degree from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University in May 2021. While at Pace, William was an active member of his class competing in several Moot Court and Mock Trial competitions, serving as President of the Latin American Law Students Association, and an active member of the Criminal Justice Society. William also represented clients in a variety of immigration matters as part of the Immigration Justice Clinic at Pace Law.

Prior to law school, William graduated Cum Laude from the George Mason University Schar School of Government in May 2018 earning a B.A. in Government & International Politics. He also completed a double minor in Criminal Justice and Legal Studies.
